I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – I would very possibility sell my soul for cosmetic items. These are my must haves, as of right now.
1.Nude Progenius Rescue Oil
Great makeup starts with great skin; great skincare is th foundation. I noticed brighter, firmer, more evenly toned skin after about three days of using this product. I don’t even wear foundation anymore (at least most days), and if I do, I use considerably less because my skin isn’t soaking it up.
You simply cannot beat DermaBlend for foundations and concealers. Everything from scars to tattoos can be covered with a DermaBlend product. If I choose to wear foundation, this is my go-to.
3.Lumene Bright Now Blur Line and Pore Minimizer
Not only does it make your skin feel like pure velvet, act as a shield for cosmetics being soaked into skin and brighten and mattify skin, it fights lines, pores and nasty oil for hours. I opt for this over foundation (or even under foundation) because it’s so beautifully light weight.
This is a one stop makeup wonder. Highlight cheekbones, swipe over eyelids and graze lips for an instant beauty pick-me-up. Subtle shimmer that gives an all day glow, this stick comes with its own spongy blender, for no fuss application.
5.Coty Airspun Loose Powder
Yup, it smells like grandma. Yup, it’s been around forever. There’s a reason for that. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it. This classic loose powder is everything you need to set makeup and combat shine. So good, the only upgrade this product has undergone in the last 30+ years, is packaging.
It has a cult following and non-stop media attention. Why? Because this is the perfect flush of cheek color. It has imitators, but none come quite close enough to this gorgeous, soft, “afterglow” shade; peachy-pink, with just a hint of gold shimmer. If there’s a blush that looks good on everyone, it’s this.
If you want luscious lashes, this is the way to go. Fiber enhanced, little particles cling to lashes, adding volume and length.
The best, all day, moisturizing yet matte, lip color available! Unfortunately, they discontinued my beloved Shanghai Red, which I’ve worn for about ten years, but maybe they have a shade that suits you. Do yourself a favor and invest in a lip brush for precise application and access to every last “drop” in the tube.
Handmade in small batches, you will probably be on a wait list when you order. However, their vegan pigments are worth every penny and every extra day you wait to receive them. Wet or dry, sample sizes alone last forever. Superior wearability, amazing colors and fabulous formulations that don’t leave skin feeling parched or funky. Being a fan since they were Bombshell Beauty, experiment with the wet and dry applications before wearing them out to work or a party. They take a bit to get used to if you’ve never used loose pigments, but it’s worth it. Most are eye, cheek and lip safe as well.
I’ve worn acrylic nails for YEARS because I’m a horrible nail biter. I just haven’t had the time and effort to maintain them lately. So, I’ve become obsessive about nail wraps because I can sport my natural nails, and still have them look great. Simply put, they’re stickers that are applied to the nail and then heated (they sell heaters, but a hair dryer or even a space heater works) to ensure longevity. They say two weeks, but I’ve worn them for almost six months on toe nails and over a month as accent nails (like shown).
